Sunday, August 2 2026. The Rake at Admiral Maltings, then Chase Center.
Have a good time, do some good.
That first $400 was $275 given straight through the link by you, and $125 from us: $50 out of the Trabocco Kitchen & Cocktails sponsorship, $50 out of shirt sales, and $25 more since. Every dollar the food bank gets turns into about $7 of groceries.
The page is still open. Every dollar still turns into about seven.
Give to the Alameda Food Bank →One email when a night goes up, nothing else. That is how most people find out.
I'd been working on this one since June. We started at The Rake at Admiral Maltings out on Alameda Point at 1:30, took the malthouse tour, and the double decker pulled out at 3:45 with 67 of us on it.
128 seats at Chase Center for the Valkyries. For a lot of these families it was their first WNBA game, and for some of the kids it was their first pro game of anything.
The Valkyries beat the Toronto Tempo 96 to 79. Janelle Salaun came off the bench for 24, and Veronica Burton put up 17 with six assists. It was close into the third and then it wasn't.
Tap anything that sounds good. This is genuinely how the next night gets picked.
Trabocco Kitchen & Cocktails sponsored this one, and $50 of it went straight to the food bank. A night costs real money to put on, and a sponsor is what keeps a seat affordable for a family of five.
Big nights out for Alameda families, put together by neighbors. A bus off the island, a block of seats together, and a reason to meet the people who live around you. Aug 2 was the first one.
There is no next date on the calendar yet. The fastest way to hear about one is the group chat.
